May 10 Food Distribution To Those Affected By Coronavirus

On May 10, 2020, AMCB Foundation Bangladesh distributed nearly 40 packages of food in the village Bikrampur Khilgaon in the Munshiganj district.  Each package weighed about 14 kg and included rice, lentils, cooking oil, onions, and sanitary items.  These packages were provided to people affected by coronavirus and were distributed according to Bangladesh’s social distancing rules.  Another 20 packages are in the process of being distributed in Dhaka city.

This distribution is part of AMCB Foundation Bangladesh’s larger efforts to help those affected by coronavirus until this pandemic is brought under control in Bangladesh.  We provided 200 PPEs to frontline workers in Dhaka city on April 15, 2020.  On May 4, 2020, we delivered 30 packages of food in Dhaka city.

As we raise more money from donations, we will increase our food and PPEs distributions in Bangladesh.  We also hope to expand our aid in other areas, including helping provide immunizations.
