During May 2020, AMCB Foundation Bangladesh is providing 90 packets of food to people affected by COVID-19. These packets consist of rice, potatoes, lentils, cooking oil, and onions and will be donated to people in need in Dhaka City and in the village Bikrampur Khilgan.
During the first week of May 2020, 30 packages were distributed in Dhaka City. The remaining packages will be distributed as soon as possible in Bikrampur Khilgan. All distributions have been done in compliance with Bangladesh’s lockdown rules.
This distribution is part of AMCB Foundation Bangladesh’s larger efforts to help those affected by COVID-19. We are focusing on providing personal protective equipment (PPEs) to frontline workers and food to those affected by COVID-19. On April 15, 2020, we provided 200 PPEs to frontline workers in Dhaka.
As we raise money from donations, we are using it for these two purposes as soon as we can. If you are interested in helping us out, please donate by clicking here.
