Donate to AMCB Foundation Bangladesh on Giving Tuesday, May 5, 2020, and help those affected by COVID-19 in Bangladesh.
On May 5, 2020, there will be a worldwide Giving Tuesday Now Fundraising Event. This event is raising money to fight COVID-19 throughout the world.
This Giving Tuesday, consider donating to AMCB Foundation Bangladesh. We are fundraising to provide personal protection equipment (PPE) to hospital workers treating COVID-19 patients. We are also fundraising to distribute food to those who need it because of the COVID-19 endemic.
As part of this event, AMCB Foundation Bangladesh is raising money to donate a variety of PPE items to doctors, nurses, and other frontline workers in Bangladesh. These items include KN-95 and surgical masks; gowns with shoe coverings and either a hood or separate head cap; eye protection items (such as safety goggles and face shields); and gloves. We are also working to provide hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes to frontline workers.
We have already started providing small quantities of some of these items to COVID-19 frontline workers. On April 15, 2020, AMCB Foundation Bangladesh donated 200 PPEs to frontline workers in Bangladesh, with most of them being distributed to healthcare workers at MOOGDA General Hospital in Dhaka.
In addition to providing protective gear to frontline workers, AMCB Foundation Bangladesh will also use donated money to distribute food to the poor and those who need help due to unemployment, reduction of working hours, and reduction or loss of business.
Your donation will allow us to provide more aid in Bangladesh. If you are interested in donating, please click here.
